The best a Leftist can do is what president Clinton did - the man was smart enough not to mess with the economy, he left it alone - and it did well.

If I recall, Clinton was the recipient of the so-called peace dividend. He did raise taxes and was frugal for a dim. I'd argue that their attempt at a takeover of the entire health care system was a potential clusterF. They wanted to control all aspects of HC including what people were allowed to specialize in. His BS led to a monumental and historical loss in the House and Senate. To Clinton's credit, he did work with reps but had little choice. The market seemed to take off after sanity was restored in the elections of 94.

The goal of leftist movements is power for the sake of power. That is the reason of their existence. They claim that they care for the poor and for the workers - but every time a socialist regime managed to come to power, the workers and the poor would become worse off. Mostly, because every time the economies would become less productive.

Power is the goal and they get there by selling influence. The Clintons were so good, they would make investment bankers blush at their greed. Their modus operandi are pages taken from the mob. They are the ultimate money launderers. The R's certainly share some of this blame. The result is that they ARE systemically racists.

1)Going back to the Great Society that began the breakup of the family especially hurt Blacks. Children's success is highly correlated to two parent families.

2) They fight school choice at every turn and the inner city schools are by far the worse.

3) They fight to defund the police thereby turning neighborhoods into war zones. Stores are fleeing many urban areas. 72% of blacks do not want to defund the police. The law abiding citizens are being literally held hostage.

4) Illegal immigration hurts the poor and lower middle class the worst creating additional crime and competition for lower paying jobs.

5) Globalization exports jobs which hurts blue the most and again falls disproportionally on minorities.

4 and 5 are why wage growth stagnated for blue collar workers.

System means top-down and pervasive. These policies keep people poor and in fear. No way out.
