<soapbox> Bullies - Stop!

Come on, people. Let's play nice. We've got bullies here and we've got people who have done no DD but read GaBard's posts. There's no reason to shame someone for posting emotionally on SI. We all do it. Hell, take a look at other threads this same group has been in. Every one does it, including our glorious Guru. But I am sick of the continuing and overemotional flamage.

Sorry to come on strong, but I just hate this almost "Holier than thou" aspect of MIDL participation. The purity of the righteous whatever the hell.... Get a grip, people. There's no reason not to be civil and nice. We've got a sure winner. We don't have to do anything but not sell. Amazing that such an easy play would bring out such emotional flamage.

This constant bullying has got to stop. Someone mentions short positions in an inquiring manner and someone gets flamed. Someone questions whether one of the (ahem) 12 have sold and someone gets flamed. Someone gets excited and posts a cheerleader thing and they get flamed, "You're going to get the day traders here." Someone talks about MM tactics and they get flamed.

It's just got to stop. Hell, WE ARE ALL ON THE SAME TEAM HERE! Nobody who posts will admit to being short. Let's act civil and have someone fun while we all get rich as s**t.

This is not anyone person's board. This is a community of investors who have the GD right to post whatever the hell they want whenever the hell they want without getting flamed. I agree that it would be nice to keep the talk away from attracting Day Traders, but let's use Private Mail (the new SI feature) for doing this public meta-commentary on postings. (Commentary on commentary).

Later... as he puts on his asbestos gloves and head gear.
