I am thinking its very likely that covid will be like the flu. it will be advised to get at least annual shots. given how many anti vaxers there are out there . it is unlikely that we will develop any herd immunity anytime soon so its likely that the virus will just continue to mutate and hospitals will be overburdened. I believe that all augurs well for moderna's future prospects. but perhaps i too will become a bagholder. Meanwhile people continue to be getting Omnicron left and right it seems to be but for most it is like a common cold. Still if the cdc data is correct and your odds of staying out of the hospital is over 90% with a booster and 57% without. Personally I will keep getting the booster.

I went to the cdc website and could not find this information however this was reported with these numbers by the new york times the washingon post and nbc news so perhaps this info is not on the cdc website yet.

the cdc continue s to recommend the moderna or pfiezer boosters on their website.
