Great article, CAP. If Bell Atlantic gets into long-distance in New York, CVUS becomes much more important to long-distance companies such as AT&T, WorldCom/MCI, and Sprint. Customers want one-stop shopping for both local and long-distance. If Bell Atlantic can offer one-stop shopping, the long-distance companies will be compelled to do the same. CVUS gives them that ability.
