The goal of an everywhere, all the time $99 Zip was announced by KE way back when. He has always said that's still the goal.

The point in the CC was that the ad campaign was necessary to reach and educate the next level of buyers. Simply lowering prices would leave the uninformed walking-by lower priced Zips.

He also said they had solid market research to support this approach, but his presentation of the information was confused and muddeled (imho)
