Microsoft is taking us where we want to go! It just takes a while sometimes. Maybe that's a good thing, though. You know, I'm getting a little tired of your cynical attitude, Mr. Grand Poobah. Don't you realize the wealth Bill has created? If a few thousand folks lost their jobs, it's because of good ole Darwin. The fittest will survive! Microsoft is NOT a monopoly, period. Look it up in the dictionary. I can buy any OS I choose. So what if I pay twice, that shows you how smart Microsoft is. Just look at the millionaires Microsoft has created. They must be the way to go. You guys are just jealous. They're success is proof. It IS the TRUTH. Look how software prices have fallen. Are you guys BLIND? If you don't like it. DON'T BUY IT!
