By the way, Wharfie, remind me which party wants to decrease defense spending. Can't do that if you want to fund a bunch of proxy wars. Why is Bernie Sanders so silent when it comes to the drums of war being beaten? Why is Ro Khanna, my congressman, so silent as well? How about AOC and her "squad"? All of them wanted to see us stop military aid to Saudi Arabia, because you know, people in Yemen are suffering because of the American "military industrial complex." Do they really think that Brandon and Brenda could support Ukraine "on the cheap"? Do they really believe Brenda when she promises a "severe cost" to any aggressive action on the part of Russia? Kind of alarming that the only "anti-war" politicians in Washington are "anti-war" when a Republican is in charge. But when it's a Democrat in charge, war become a "bipartisan" thing.
