I visited LindyBill three days before he died when he was still pretty lucid. He knew he had lost the battle and lamented that he wouldn’t be able to continue with his threads, which he got a great deal of enjoyment out of.
He said he wished he had the energy to post what he was feeling, discussed dictating something to his daughter and having her post it.

As I’ve mentioned before, she was very distraught because his passing happened very fast and she wasn’t prepared for it. She tried to figure out what he was saying but couldn’t understand his directions of how SI worked.

What he told me was that he hoped his threads would continue in the same spirit of helping people on his health thread and keeping people informed on this thread. He hoped it wouldn’t be necessary for Derek to be anything more than a fellow poster.

Let’s hope his legacy continues in the spirit he intended.
