Red Alert.

Just spoke with one of my best friends who is a broker at one of the biggest Brokers in America.

He has worked there 30 years and has never seen an email like the one he received this morning.

The firm is instructing the brokers to call the firms NYSE/NASDAQ Trading desk for all trades that are "market moving" for execution before putting the order in. That in and of itself isn't abnormal.

HOWEVER, the threshold is..... (Wait for It)

10K share orders on the NASDAQ and 25K shares on the NYSE.

Have you ever considered 25k OR 10k orders to be "market moving" in nature?

Now that my friends is something to be concerned about.

Is there no liquidity?

Some people are getting ready to be hurt.
