Who knows if China will let any US company do a large deal in this environment following American crippling of their semiconductor production capabilities. Also, a large part of the ARM acquisition was financed by funny money: i.e. its overpriced shares. Though they have some $20B cash, a big acquisition after the recent share price collapse may have to wait until share prices stabilize before firing another volley.
