Tell them to get lost? Not exactly. I'd be willing to talk, but not to accept their ridiculous list of demands. I very much doubt Kissinger would have either.
Agree that Kissinger would not simply accept all their demands. I doubt they expect that. He would evaluate those demands individually, identify the really important ones, the deal breakers… and try to work out a compromise. At the very least, they would know that their problems are being taken seriously. If we made a bono fide effort to understand our adversaries, maybe we could work out a win-win solution - and they would no longer be adversaries? Or maybe not. It’s worth a serious try.

I didn’t mean to have this conversation turn a little testy. Sorry about that. No need for it.
