Shiela, I think he was shell shocked.

The sell off had already done tremendous damage at the time of his CC and he was probably shaken and clearly defensive. Not fun to be speaking to an audience of burned stockholders and analysts who have already pulled the plug on your show.

Clinton's first public response to his scandal exhibited the same sort of shell shock and lack of conviction. And he was punished severely for it. He has since regrouped and come out swinging.

I suspect that we will see KE come out swinging at his Bear Stearnes conference and a full press marketing drive at the Digital Photography Convention in New Orleans. He should be further energized by the strong retracement of the stock price.

KE got the wind nocked out of him but I think he'll be back in the game real soon.
