Maybe he was shell shocked, but if he was more experienced he should have realized that his job at the CC was to instill confidence in the analysts, not get them to lose confidence. As far as the Prez. goes he's never been as popular as he is now,70% approval rating when everybody knows he "Boinked Monica". Now tell me what's worse, missing estimates by 1 or 2 pennies or having Ken Starr on your trail? The latter is worse but Clinton can get out of any adverse situation and come out a winner. As far as KE is concerned; the glass could be half empty or half full. He presented the half empty scenario. I think IOM should can him and get a new CEO. For this job I nominate our eminent "Gary" the wise one. SR
