Greenspan Put
Bernanke Put
Yelled Put
Now Powell Put

Chair of the Fed said:
Inflation is well above our long term goal

Problems have been larger and longer-lasting than anticipated

Price increases have spread to a broader range of goods and services

Wages have slso risen briskly, and we are attentive to the risks that persistent real wage growth In excess of productivity could put upward pressure on inflation

What would you, as an investor do?
Brace for tough action from the Fed!

No. Did not happen. Instead it continues to Inject liquidity with policy rates floored.

Thus the Powell Put
Keep stock market up has been the new mandate of the Fed.

Had the Fed taken action, Everything Bubble would come down. No Good. Better do hings so gradually that the Everything Bubble stays, well, bubbled.

Emerging markets suffer a financial crisis once a decade. They know how to deal with them.

The US is afraid of fighting crisis since Greenspan inaugurated the Put in 1987.
