First one must survive the quite impending grid-down situation which will leave us in the dark for about two decades first.
If the Sun does it, the next "best" chance will come during August. Then about 6 months later.
People might do it but that's a bit less likely. Only a bit.
Another cause may have recently popped its head up with new evidence of increased charge differential between Earth and atmosphere.
