I forgot the first part of the name of the FS boat captained by Howard Ulrich when I was there. The Sitka Ranger I like to describe my memory as a fog that I have to search through. AI helps. Here's a good resource for boat names and facts: boatinfoworld.com Here's a story about the Sitka Ranger FS boat. sitkasentinel.com I went on a great tour with the recreation dept and lands dept to view in-holdings, abandoned administrative sites, permitted sites (like crab pot storage), subsistence use fishery sites, and higher scrutiny sites (like wilderness areas) I saw that boat for sale a while ago. So cheap, I could have bought it. Never afford to keep or run it though. My timber crew friends on the Nakwasina had a ball. Maybe too much adaptation, if you know what I mean.
