I perceive a streak of marxism-leninism among many ffw (formerly free world) leaders. True followers of that faith do not resign from power. They fight harder.

They rationalize this by arguing that they’re progressive - and are the forward looking, cutting edge of history. They believe it’s their duty to lead. Relinquishing power is simply a bad setback in the forward march of history.

That’s what those kooks believe.
