I bought TXN Texas Instruments on its Beat and Raise this week. Value Line rates it 1 A++ 1 (Safety, Financial Strength, Timeliness) in the same league as AAPL, AMZN, BRKB, GOOG, MA, MSFT, UNH and V. TXN has grown its dividend every year since 2006 (as far back as Value Line goes) and their wafer fabrication plants are in the US which I view as a plus in this environment. The stock has corrected about 12% from its highs. I may buy some more before the company’s capital management review on Thursday, February 3, at 10 a.m. Central time.

Additional data from Value Line:
Company’s Financial Strength A++
Stock’s Price Stability 95
Price Growth Persistence 100
Earnings Predictability 90
