All right to kick it off on a stormy, rainey day in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm in TLK, as of last week. Here is the link.... Subject 18791 Quick info.TLK Telekom Indonesia is the largest telephone services in Indo. Because of the currency problems in the Far East TLK has plummented from a high of 36 1/4 to it's current level of 9 and change. 4.7 million of Indonesia's 200 million people have a phone. They all want phones and their is only one place to get it. Get it. TLK is the old monopolistic MA BELL, except it's Indonesia. There job if they wish to take it (snicker) is to provide, install, maintain, and operate all phone lines for Indo. The thread is really informative, and talk of currency values comparitivly to the US dollar is common. Not only do you learn about your investment but you also get to learn about day to day currency dips and slips (snore). Okay, now that your back awake check it out and see for yourself. SK
