My son (age 44) just inherited $90,000. His question is when/where to put it to work. He likes idea of DG portfolio and is ready to start. I suggest with this market to do dollar-cost-averaging twice a month into stocks with good history and present earnings. Possibly choices: DE, LMT, AMGN ABBV, CVX, PG, PRU, AAPL, MSFT, ENB, SO, WEC, DUK, TXN, HD, LOW, UTG, O, CM, RY, PEP etc. These have been some of the nice stocks for me. He could pick 9 or 10 to start. He also wants to add $300 month to the portfolio. Any suggestions would be helpful.
