Concerning Asia, I believe as long as China rallies, other Asian nations especially Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore will rally as well. The ADR's and the Asian Closed End Funds will also react positively. Closed-end funds and ADR's like HKT and CHL due to their Hong Kong/China origin will be one of the first potential investments an investor may look at if they want to invest in the Chinese region. And as a result of the upward movements in their markets, ADR's will move in reaction to their overall movements. Usually an ADR due to their volitility would react as much if not more than their market indices. But some of these chinese investments may have already factored some of these good news already into their share price.
Pay close attention to Taiwan 5:00PM PST, the China and Hong Kong Market around 6:00PM PST SUNDAY . Usually Taiwan is a good leading indicator for the direction of the Chinese markets. A great resource would be on Yahoo.finance - world reports. Then I believe once the China market opens, there will be another a very strong upside boost in their indices. But if the Asian markets do rally, by the time you want to invest in HKT in the US,it may already be too late... because HKT would have opened higher... the best way to get in on it would have been last Friday or earlier.
