You are operating out of fear not reason.
I put tire chains on my car when I last drove to Lake Tahoe because I feared getting into an accident if I didn't.

I support the Bill of Rights because I fear a government that thinks our rights can be taken away whenever convenient.

I got the vaccine, and I wear a mask, because I fear the 2% chance of dying and the 10% chance of having debilitating side effects if I catch COVID-19.

I think all of my fears are reasonable.

As for you, you gain nothing by calling mask mandates "abuse" or "torture." You won't even call it hyperbole, so I have to assume that you believe that what you are saying is literally true.

It's your choice, but just like the "woke" left who abuses the word "racism," you are abusing the word "abuse." Words mean things, which is why I finally turned my back on Bill Clinton and the Democrat Party back in 1999.
