A few weeks ago you made a post about dangers on NYC subway platforms and you suggested barriers like those in Singapore. That caught my interest as I'm familiar with both cities.

It seems this is an ongoing topic in NYC:

Overall the problem seems to be that NYC subways are older and the retrofit has big issues.
