I know but I'd worry that bringing anything into a foreign country as luggage could be grounds for arrest such as for tax avoidance on shipping designer clothes. My guess is it was designer jeans.

I have a distant cousin that my beloved grandmother was so proud of to introduce my father and I to on one of our visits while she was still in her home and I just started working at HP. He was smuggling Bibles into the USSR back when that was extremely dangerous.

If legal and no chance of being arrested, it would be a nice way to get a new Cuban wardrobe while there... with the money saved on tickets.

BTW, was it Levi's jeans?
