The President said we'd leave Afghanistan before the 20-year anniversary of 9/11. Everyone knew this - the media, Congress, the military, the Taliban, the Afghan military. The Taliban were the only group that were ready. Why? We need better military leaders. The president did the right thing and the military didn't follow his orders. As for anyone who didn't get out...tough. We don't need to hold everyone's hand and lead them to safety. They had months to get out. Why didn't they?
