To all:

While the board is quiet I figured it would be okay to ask a general question. I had the FTEL investors packet sent to me and they had list of Market Makers. I was a somewhat confused. I don't have the investors packet in front of me so I am not able to list the names, but do these people for FTEL? I understand the spread between bid and ask. My question is, who gets the proceeds from the spread? Is the money made by the MMs split between FTEL, SEC, and MMs? If so, then what percentages do each of them get? I would also feel that if the MMs work for FTEL, they would try to work the stock to get their profits and to also move the stock up to generate interest in a company or stock. In doing so they would continue to make more profits with high volumes. It seems like everyone hates the MMs and that they are against everyone and that they just want to move a stock down.

Am I all wrong about this? This has always bothered me and the spreads between bid and ask. It would be nice if we could have prices set by a computer which strickly works on supply and demand for a stock. this would maximize everyone profit if there weren't any MMs.
