As of 1/15/98 there were 14,742,021 shares short or about 1.16 days to cover. I would suspect that the price rise in not because of short covering. I would also guess that only just now that the price has shot up are there any meaningful number of shorts.... Where did you get the data to support your comment that there are "a mountain of shorts" out there? I got my data from the nasd.... Mo
