Re: ..the only place these boxmakers have left to sell their wares is in countries without reliable power.... Yes -- like Florida for example? There are a lot of places with "reliable" power, but which do have a lot of flickers when lightning strikes the system somewhere. The flickers don't generally much bother your TV, washing machine, et al, but it can screw up the program currently running on your computer and lose its data. Bill
