It is true my greatest concern about Obamacare was the gutting of R&D it would cause, and it has in fact resulted in significant problems. Even so, we continue to lead the world in R&D.


I'm not suggesting our medical system is the best in the world but with regard to Obamacare, it sure as hell hasn't hurt the quality or cost of my care..... I have access to every md in the area and can use major NY and Conn hospitals at my will.. And it's costing me almost nothing.. I use Medicare Advantage and have a supplimental health account of 3000 from my former employer....

You and your wife have medicare, so what else do you have.....you're close to major Texas medical centers...

And btw, no one has ever explained to me the billing system of our hospitals and mds.......I'm talking about how it is claimed insurance companies are billed large amounts and then "settle" for a mere portions of what was billed......I still am not convinced that that deep "discount" doesn't make it onto someone's income tax as a deduction... so what is with the phony accounting??
