I think takeover of Netscape could definetely create a world of new opportunities. Think of Oracle's database, coupled with Oracle's financial package along with Netscape's browser and intranet capabilities for sharing of information. It is almost a complete soluition provider for the corporate world. As a marketing tactic they could bundle the database with the intranet and this would give them a huge jump on Sybase and Informix. Coupling the intranet with the financial package would give it a leg up on Peoplesoft,Lawson, and Hyperion. I am all for the takeover. The possibilities are limitless.
