Idea...

What about starting a Thread called #1 Day Traders Site - The Final Frontier Correlations

We could discuss the correlation between certain stocks, sectors, sectors and the markets etc., in the goal of developing an understood correlation (whether it be -1 or 1) between certain variables.

Posts might be something like:

" I feel that XYZand ABD are positively correlated because ......" We could then all put these stocks on our screens, track them for a few days and see if the theory holds water, along the way refining the correlation, bringing in other stocks etc.

Who knows? maybe we can develop a great correlation between just a few which leads to a number of great trades. Between all the depth and variety of experiences on these threads, I would assume we should be able to come up with something.

Personally, I don't really want to start another thread myself as I take my "responsibility" of hosting the Trading Desk Thread Subject 15612 and kind of run out of time most of the days anyway,
so I would ask if some like Alex R. is interested, to please startup a new thread on the Short Term Trading section. ....I am sure you would get a lot of interest. I, for one, would definately contribute.
Regards,
Steve@yamner.com
