Does Samsung (or the entire S. Korea industries) have any choice other than dumping phones, memories, chips, TVs, VCRs, cars? When S. Korea's top finance officer (Last name Mr. You) was interviewed in Nightly Business News a few days ago, he was asked "Will the Korean companies dump their products at a cheaper price?" He never answered the question.

If Samsung does dump its PCS phones at a much cheaper price than GSM phones, then CDMA may become the default standard in the US or many other countries in the world. From that angle, I think it might be good for QCOM.
