Yeah, they are short. Although I’m sure Spotify owns him until his current contract is up, the next one will be over a billion dollars. He has more listeners, for three hours a day, than the cable news networks combined. If he set up high quality streaming from home, he could instantly have his current listener base, for the most part. 11 million people paying $10/month is $100 million a month, 1.2 Billion a year. And he’s going to take much of Spotify’s streaming business with him, people like Jordan Peterson, Lex Fridman, and others. When it is over you are talking multiple billions a year right into Rogan's pocket. Before this is over he will be writing thank you notes to CSNY and Joni Mitchell. But Spotify isn’t about to let him out of there right now.
