What the Brandon did I just read here?
Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams, who recently appeared maskless among dozens of masked-up children during a visit to a Georgia elementary school, did so “on the condition that everyone around her” wore a face covering, including children, her campaign said.
Just to be sure, I did some searching around in order to verify this. I found this article from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:

Deleted Stacey Abrams tweet with no-mask photo prompts Georgia political debate (ajc.com)
Her campaign said she wore a mask to the event and only removed it so she could be heard by students watching remotely and for a handful of photos on the condition that everyone around her was wearing face-coverings.
Uh yeah, that's what a microphone is used for, Ms. Abrams.

The mask is most effective in protecting OTHERS from yourself. It is less effective in protecting YOU from others.

By making the children wear masks so that she doesn't have to, she is basically saying that SHE should be protected from the children, not that the children should be protected from HER.

I don't know whether to call her ignorant or selfish. Which one is less likely to get me branded a "racist"?
