"What's the point of modern medicine then?" I've been wondering that all of my life. I've come to the conclusion it's to keep us in a constant state of sickness with ever multiplying side effects from the toxic "medicines," which continue in a vicious circle of death and destruction for the people, and riches for the pharma companies. Iatrogenic death is the third leading cause. The data confirm what I allege. And regarding oil: look around you, everything you see is either made of oil, or got there thanks to oil.
