Heck, even Obama declared an "end" to the War on Terrorism, so for all practical purposes, neoconservatism is dead.
Ask yourself this. If it weren't dead, why would both Trump and Brandon want to get the F out of A*ghanistan? They should have stayed just like The Chickenhawk Project wanted them to.
That's not to say that we should just leave the terrorists alone. I for one have no problems with "Special Forces" going in and helping these terrorist leaders meet their 72 virgins. There is no nation-building, no spreading of "freedom" using JDAMs, no attempt to win over the hearts and minds of the people there. Just go in, kill the SOBs, and GTFO.
If the nations that host terrorists like Syria, Sudan, Pakistan, and Iran have problems with us taking care of business within their own borders, let them go complain to the UN. Maybe they can write a strongly worded letter to us ...
