What has changed?
It's been years since 9/11/2001. We haven't had a major terrorist attack on American soil since then. Maybe some mass shootings like the gay nightclub in Florida, but that's about it.

Also, we've been through three changes in the presidency over that time period. Each administration is VASTLY different from the previous one.
as for terrorists....what would you do if Muslims invaded and occupied the US? Would you then become a "terrorist"?
Name one country in the entire world that hasn't been "invaded and occupied" by a foreign power.

I'm all for disengagement, but I'm not naive enough to believe that, if we leave them alone, they'll leave us alone.
