The last word or Not ours, covid's The last word on our response will be what the covid virus does. The next variant may not be so kind. Omicron was one talking point away from being a VOHC. Those fearful of vaccines and the misinformed won't be enticed with positive methods. I am as sick and tired of the pandemic as any other person. What I am still doing is my best to stay healthy and to keep others healthy. Like most others my steps are for someone else more than they are for me. I wear a mask, I follow public health directives, I am vaccinated. I have a 90 year old mother-in-law, still here, I have a brother with co-morbidities for covid. The selfish people that imagine this is about political gain are fools, it is about a covid pandemic and science. Every last ones of us is affected by covid, the entire world suffers. And we have this set of fundamentalists and separatists kicking regular Canadians who are down. We are afflicted, even here, by those who glory in hatred and pain and hurt, who want Canada to suffer.
