You assume correctly.
‘They’ are reckoning that HK might end up w/ 28,000 cases in total given the protocol now in place and progressions (# of jabs) scheduled.
I ask myself, “if ‘only’ 28K cases out of 8M population, why should my name be on the list?”
So, Vit D3, Chinese traditional herbal immune booster, lots of water and sleep, and walks, and reasonable social-distancing, and hand washing, and carrying to frequently use disinfectant, etc etc
Adventure
Stocked up on toilet paper and rice this day. Did not see anyone else do so. I am early, perhaps unnecessarily so, but I do not care.
Tomorrow shall load up on canned food for 30-days. I shall be viewed very weirdly, but again, I do not give a darn.
Also filled up on gasoline. The way I drive the tank should last me through May / June :0)
Should conditions go dire in whatever way I shall do hard lockdown of home. As long as there is no physical school, controlled access would be relatively easy. The issue is in-laws and mom. I am glad to be in HK for this round and that the seniors are all nearby. Cape Town was simply toooooooo far out there, and whilst we were okay, had adventure, but we were trapped :0) |
