I haven't seen what you describe and we go though ID a lot, but for sure drug use is a huge epidemic in our country. My step grand daughter lost here dad to fentanyl last June........he was 44. And and my SIL lost her husband to heroine about 5 yrs ago..........he was 54.

The were both just regular guys with jobs and families.
