Mq looks at things a little askance and turns them over, often seeing things others miss. I wouldn't dismiss anything he came up with out of hand. His take on school shootings seemed reasonable and, while I don't particularly ascribe to singling out the two nationalities he picks on, some nations do seem more aggressive than others. It might even be a similar phenomenon, put a population under stress for a while and see what character traits are selected. Or it might just be human nature, if one wanted to get ethnic it would be a smaller group of nations without a war filled past (and present) to use as examples.
