I'm hoping that having failed to get USA to back off, Putin will take over eastern Ukraine in response to the USA/Nazi attacks as he's being forced to do, then get Milley on the blower, along with Austin and co and tell them to call an immediate truce or witness the End of the World up close and personal. Yes, of course it would be Game Over for Putin too if the USA keeps the attack going. But just as Elon is considering going to Mars and likely dying there some time later, hopefully not in a crash landing, not everyone wants to surrender and die safely in their beds of old age. Personally, I prefer that idea to Mars or atomic explosion. Something like age 105 would be acceptable if I have no choice.
Then hold independence elections in the eastern provinces, as in the split up Yugoslavia, and hope to give the local yokels some identity that matches so they can all get on with life. Scotland held a vote and decided to stay with England. Maybe the easterners would do the same. Or like Scotland might like to join EU. Or Rusia. Or stay independent like Switzerland. Or join the world Federation of Tradable Citizenship countries.
