Things are green on the un-optimistic positions...

I was 3X un-optimistic earlier today... and, it seems, sustained pessimism is sometimes its own reward...

I bought Feb 11 UVXY 16 calls for a dime this morning... sold them for $1 in the afternoon...

All that work I did, last year, learning how that thing trades... might not have been time wasted ?

Have also been very KOLD-ly pessimistic about Nat Gas prices all this week... after being very optimistic about them BOIL-ing higher all last week...

I noted in prior posting that the market is a dance... and you have to feel it and have the rhythm to not step on partners toes... or have them step on yours. Apparently, when the music is playing most loud, it should be easiest for even the hard of hearing to keep the beat ? But, it seems not... as the most skilled dancers are not those with the best hearing, or the worst... but those most able to match their dance moves to the changing moods of the music, and the partner. A dizzying array of partners... meaning success in a volatile market requires good traders must be... manic-depressives... equally contented fans of Mozart, Neil Sedaka, and Ossie Osbourne...
