interesting. I once visited Lenin's boyhood home on the shore of the Volga River in Ulyanovsk Russia, not far from Dimitrovgrad where I stayed for a few weeks. I lived with my grandmother in Chicago my first 10yrs.. she was born in Tarnow Poland 1882. her father was a public servant, a sheriff. the czar's troops got a hold of him back then when Poland was partitioned. he left 6 children & his wife behind when they shipped him to a gulag in Siberia.
