I'm not sure the new rules won't help SyQuest's report look better.

The new rules mean that positive earnings look smaller, but they will also help a loss seem smaller. I expect SyQuest to report fully-diluted numbers only, instead of both sets of numbers, for that reason.

We saw this same effect on last quarter's report. Losses per share were significantly lower than the previous quarter, because many more shares had been issued.
