Yardeni frequently publishes a value vs growth chart and last I checked it showed they are near equilibrium.

The problem with using relative charts is that in absolute terms the market can go in the opposite direction for long periods. Which is to say both value and growth can rise or fall but to varying degrees. Typically value drops less than growth in a down market, but that is of little consolation.

I like keeping the extremes because they tell me when to fight the tape and when to let it ride. But I appreciate your perspective.
