Two points. @230 you need more D3 than others might simply because you have more body mass. Depending on how much of that weight is body fat, you will need even more. So....20K iu, for you, is like 10 K iu for someone who is 130 lbs and slender. Numbers are a rather deceptive game.

There are no major dosage problems with K2/7 intake. A few hundred micrograms a day appears sufficient and nowhere near any kind of od level. Like all things that are naturally good for you, modern day medicine has no idea what is the best level. If they can not charge you 100+ dollars a pill they are not interested in it. You can only eat so much Kale and then it stops processing and exits the body almost undigested. If you are going to get all your K2 from Kale you will need to blend it up and drink it by the gallon.

We accept the current disastrous state of our medical systems because we do not really pay for this rip off directly. It's in our taxes, or it is part of the country's death wish debt. Obamacare, or National medicine is blind to cost except when it is needed to save your life. Pills at 100 a pop are just fine.

Finally if you have not gotten your alcohol and sugar habits under control you need to do that immediately. Sugar will attack your joints. Booze is just an expensive hyper sugar substitute. Both play havoc with your muscle and tendon tissues, and contribute to degradation of cartilage and tendon attachments.
