Israel has historically been able to take care of itself, but its recent announcement that Iran WILL be a nuclear state has shaken my confidence a bit; I had thought we were in a realm of "Iran will always TRY to become a nuclear power, but Israel will stand up against it unwaveringly." In a sense, I believed Israel was carrying the weight of protecting the world from a nuclear Iran. And now, I just don't know what's up over there.
