My bet would be that many of those police officers, military personnel and statesmen have read Orwell's words and they either don't care or aren't interested. Many of them may believe the fraud is coming from our side of the isle. They may believe we just don't understand or have the capacity to realize how important and rational (in their minds) it is to keep people in line and focused on govt goals.

And in a very bigly way..........they might believe that it is we who are standing in the way of theirs and their children's future.

Fortunately, there are millions of people who have read and understand Orwell's warnings. We're seeing the average man's reaction to this newly revealed tyranny all over the world. Whether those people mentioned above choose freedom and liberty over their own security is at this point in time unknown.
