In my Lifetime gym, the men and women's change rooms are situated such that men won't encounter women. They had to renovate and temporarily switched the men and women's change room. To ensure that nobody goes to the wrong room by mistake, they put in a lot of signs and barriers at the entrance. At first I thought this was to protect the women. But due to the change in location I had the opportunity to study the situation and concluded that it was to protect the men. Shared this with the wife and she fully agreed.

I was fully relating to Jack in Something's Gotta Give when he tells the doctor - no, I am not not like you. I'm not a doctor. I have not seen women like that.
